Information Technology

The mission of Platt College’s Information Technology program is to provide students with the theory and skills to successfully pass industry-standard certification examinations, including COMP-TIA A+, Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), and the Microsoft Network Specialist examination.

Platt College’s Information Technology program curriculum prepares the student to gain entry-level employment as an Information Technology professional and combines classroom learning with opportunities to apply theory to common real-world situations through group projects and case studies. Emphasis is also placed on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the communication of technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
