Associate of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound)

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound) program at the Platt School of Medical Sciences is designed to prepare graduates to pursue careers in Sonography, a dynamic specialty area in the rapidly-expanding health care field. Upon successful completion of foundational coursework and a clinical externship, graduates of the program are awarded an Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) offers examinations to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
