Platt College

Associate of Science in Business Management The Business Management program at the Platt School of Legal Studies prepares graduates who are interested in working in a business-related field such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, accounting, human resources, or office administration. The Business Management program is designed for students interested in starting a small business, or who are interested in working in a business-related field such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, accounting, human resources, or office administration. Instruction to familiarize students with the core business functions is supplemented by coursework geared towards introducing and improving key business skills: developing a business plan, bookkeeping, use of industry-standard business software marketing, business law, employee management, and the challenges and key steps to becoming a business entrepreneur. Our curriculum combines classroom learning with opportunities to apply theory to real-world business situations through group projects and case studies.
